I walk towards the locker room slowly, still reeling from Max’s words. “Stop kissing me.” I groan. What was I expecting for her to would fall in love with a kiss? It sounds silly when I think of it, but I know that’s what I wanted, for her to realize that she only wants to kiss me for the rest of her life. Wishful thinking on my part. Kissing leads to sex, and that’s what she expects, but I refuse to be another guy she forgets after the moment we’re done. I want her to fall in love with me. How I’ll accomplish this, I don’t know. My thoughts are interrupted by the loud sound of cheers and laughter as I walk into the locker room. They’re reenacting the fight and cracking jokes. I’m the only one who seems bothered at all by it. I frown when I spot James on the other side laughing and make my way over to him.

I wish the book continues, nevertheless I had a good laugh reading the 9 chapters. I love the quick witted conversations and easy camaraderie among the long standing friends. I love Thorns stories because they are based on true love and not mindless sex. Love your stories lady!
