14 #Who the hell is Marian?

Brandon spent the entire day sleeping. At lunchtime, I went to ask him for lunch, but he was fast asleep, so I left him alone, not disturbing his sleep. Later in the afternoon, I decided to check on Brandon again, hoping he would be awake by then. However, to my surprise, he was still sound asleep, completely oblivious to the passing time.

It was almost dinnertime, and I was preparing some food when I heard a knock on the front door.

I opened the door, coming face-to-face with Brandon standing in the doorway. His eyes focused down on the ground as he brushed his hand over his hair. I could see that he looked a bit disheveled and tired as if he had just woken up.

"Jane," he said softly, his voice filled with remorse.

I move aside from the door, giving him space to enter the house. "Come in." As Brandon stepped inside, I noticed a hint of sadness in his eyes. He seemed hesitant, as if unsure of what to say next. Curiosity gnawed at me, but I held back from bombarding him with questio
