*Nathan POV*

Sammy stood from the ground, sweat droplets clearly visible on his forehead, and walked over to Savy. She lowered her hands, breathing heavily, their eyes still glowing.

"What…?" I stuttered, lacking words.

"You guys were taking too long deciding whether or not to shift. We needed to take the matter into our own hands." Sammy sighed, wiping his forehead.

"I'm sorry you have to find out this way. We wanted to tell you today. We got kinda scared that you two may get hurt just not to show us your shift." Savy explained, fidgeting her fingers, avoiding eye contact.

"You are sorcerers?" Caleb asked, regaining his ability to speak. I still was speechless.

"Sort of… it's a long story. I swear, we wanted to tell you. I didn't expect rogues to attack." My mate's voice broke a little in distress.

Their eyes started to lose their shine, turning back to normal blue color.
