I don’t know why there would be a supernatural push against the Guardians. When our mothers first created the council, the supes were happy to have a place where they could come to have their concerns heard. In hindsight, that means that those who were abusing their power, or causing undo stress to their packs, clans, covens, etc were removed. So, if there is a push against the Guardians, it would be from those who have had their power taken from them because they abused it. Obviously, Lorelai was against Ailduin and what he stood for. Alpha Wyatt also seemed to be against Richie and his pack. If we’re correct, it will be a stand against all three of our packs. We’re still the strongest three packs in the country. I wasn’t sure I would be able to submit to Emlyn. It went against everything in me to submit. But for her, Finley and I were willing to do anything. For her, I could submit. With the new information that Alpha Wyatt might be working with the witches, Richie felt he needed to get back to Shadow Falls and make sure the pack is ready for an attack. I hated giving up even a day with Emlyn and Leander, but the pack needed me. I had already given them enough reason to question me as their Alpha. I wasn’t going to give them another. It becomes obvious very quickly that this attack is primarily against the Guardians. I have my own group of wolves that I’m fighting, and I can no longer see Malin and Cohen’s wolves through the group surrounding them. I can feel Aunt Cara nearby, but I can't see her or Uncle Rik either. I hear the wolves around me, battling for their lives.
