Matt POV:

Tracing my fingers over her skin I can't help but smile

She passed out on the couch and I couldn't find it in me to get up and move her

"Shit you're still awake," A tired James says coming into the lounge

"Yeah well " I shrug, placing Zuri's hair behind her ear

"I love her for you man," he says grabbing a bottled water and opening it

"Thanks, James, and I mean it thanks for even taking her out whilst I was you know" I chuckle looking down at a passed-out Zuri

"No problem man what are best friends for " he chuckles too

"We are officially going on a mission," I say now growing serious

"Fuck yeah, I missed those. I thought they would never happen again"

"Yeah well back then I didn't have a Queen to rest beside me and now that I do I'll protect her even if my life is on the line "

"I fully understand "

"Well let's get some rest and we'll talk through the basics in the morning"

"Yes sir"

I gently pick up Zuri and I head upstairs to our bedroom

Gently putting her on the bed I kiss
