Steven was frightened by my imposing manner and shut his mouth. But the look in his eyes always declared his defiance.

I grabbed his beard and said, "Listen, you better forget about what we did before. If I succeed in becoming Luna, I may make you a Beta, or even an Alpha. But, if I am exposed for the lie that I am, then I will tell everyone that it was you, Steven, our esteemed Delta, who revealed to me what there was about the prophecy and the notebook.
