**Elizabeth's POV**

That night, I was awakened from my stupor by burning pain. The fire, however, was not the fire set by beta, but a flame of spontaneous ignition from my body.

Strangely enough, the ordinary flames ignited by the alcohol seemed to be so afraid of my flame of spontaneous ignition that they could not burn me. Only my own flames could harm me.

At that time, I clearly felt my skin wrapped in heat. However, my inner bones seemed to be hotter than my skin. My bone marrow flowed through my bones like lava.

A familiar pain... I experienced a similar pain the night I got my wolf on my eighteenth birthday...

The bones made a crunching sound like twigs breaking. They spun around under my skin in the opposite direction, forcing me into a four-legged position.

I roared and ran up with my body full of flames, leaving Jamie's corpse burning alone.

What was left of my sanity made me run in the direction of the only river in the Poison Mist Forest.
