A Mess

“Oh.” Audrey muttered and looked away, she avoided looking at him till the elevator stopped and they both walked out of it, they walked out of the hospital and entered Damien’s car.

“Where are we going?” She muttered playing with her fingers, she looked at him and he noticed the tears in her eyes.

“You are beautiful Audrey.” He found himself saying and Audrey chuckled, the tear rolled down her eyes as she smiled, she tucked her hair behind her ear and bit her lip as she looked down shyly.

“Thank you.” She said and sniffed, Damien nodded and started the car, he drove out of the hospital parking lot and drove into the streets.

“You still haven't answered me yet.”

“What?” Damien asked looking at her before turning back to the road.

“Where are we going?”

“Somewhere I used to love being around.” He replied and sighed, Audrey nodded and turned her eyes to the road.

After a while, Damien pulled over at a park and Audrey looked at him confused, it's a park but people don't come there anymore
