“Stop crying already.” Damien whispered as he stroked her hair, she nodded in his arms and sniffed.

“What happened to you? Who hurt you that way?” She asked as she pulled away from the hug.

“It's a long story and I don't want to talk about it, maybe some other time.” He replied and she nodded, she wiped her tears and tried to smile.

“Does your body hurt?” Damien asked and she raised a brow in confusion.

“Huh?”

“Does your body hurt from the fall at the party?” He asked.

“Oh.” She gasped when she realized what he meant, she totally forgot about that lie.

“I am fine now, I am not hurting anywhere.”
