Ava’s Pov
Sometimes…
Just sometimes… Some things happened out of the blue. Could be a particular thing you could never have guessed or expected.
This was simply one of those moments for me.
Frozen on my spot, I was appalled as to why they were intimate with each other.
“T-Tania?” I unknowingly let out.
Felt so embarrassed, from seeing it all, yet in shock.
At my voice, they untangled from each other. Their eyes, ridden in fear and a look of somewhat confusion.
Two different large thuds rippled around the bathroom, as they bowed down hastily.
“Please forgive us, Knight Ava… please forgive us!” They both chorused at the same time, with their faces kissing the floor.
“You both…w-what are you doing?”
I asked, after inhaling. My thoughts were presently scattered in disarray.
“I know we are enemies,”
Tania started off. “And we hate
Thanks for the 7k reads in this short amount of time I published this❤️❤️ Hoping you state your thoughts on this chapter!
“Now I’m no virgin. The beast had me, but wants more.” “This is my fate and it has been sealed.” – Ava Goodchild … “I want you.” Caspian purred out. “To bear my pups as my mate.” Closing it off with a kiss. I closed my eyes, taking in the sensation of his hands roaming over my body. His angelic voice and dark long hair sweeping across his face beautifully. All like a magical fantasy. “Do you want it too? Do you want me?” he asked. That was it. I didn’t know. I didn’t know what I wanted anymore. “I missed you, Caspian.” I replied truthfully. Totally ignoring his questions. “I miss you.” I woke up in my room, with my eyes coated around my tears. It must have been from the dream I had. And perhaps, my body’s way of saying it craved our mate. Ever since the tournament with Lydia, he won’t talk to me. N
“You’re two weeks pregnant, Lady Ava.” Those words brought me back fully to reality, the minute I woke up. At first, I found myself blushing extensively after remembering the night I spent with the beast. And how his beast took over, when he inserted his desire in me. Of how I struggled, but he held my two arms to my back. “I-I am? Are you sure you’re not mistaken?” I let out, asking. “It could just be a reaction from the fight tournament with Lydia a few days ago.” I said, wondering if the beast was right in his words. Did he sense it? “Yes, I am very sure. Took the tests thrice, knowing how sensitive this is, in this castle. Congratulations.” he added again. “Congratulations too, milady!” Cassandra said too. From the look of things, it was like she found me when I passed out. Everything was like a dream. I feared this will happen. But didn’t expect it to be so soon.
Brokenness. Scarred. Emptiness. The last time I got a feeling as this, was when my little sister died. Mum lost her senses on what was real and unreal. She became a vegetable. Not reacting to anything of the world. She didn’t even cry. I was the opposite because I would openly sob whenever I got the chance to. Moses would comfort me with sweet words, that my little sister got peace by dying. Even though he older than me with a couple of years, he never acted like it. Maybe that was why I gained feelings for him, back then. “Caspian…” I trailed on my words after settling him on the bed. But it was like he couldn’t even hear me. “Caspian!” He looked at me, with his silver-grey eyes encrypted with bewilderment. It seemed like he was afraid, of something. It made me wonder a lot. What was he afraid of? “You just made a mistake, Ava.” he mouthed off drifting away from me and walking
Letting those words out, made me relax. I felt glad that someone would actually listen to my past without judging me. When I remembered Caspian however, it broke my heart into shreds. He definitely thought bad of me, after what happened earlier. I didn’t even mean to cause these amounts of damage, if only he would listen. I hoped this misunderstanding stopped soon. My wolf missed him a lot. I missed him too. “Look who we have wandering…” someone trailed out. That brought me out of my thoughts, totally bringing myself on guard with a hand stylishly on my belly. “Are you lost, Ava?” Cicilia said in a sly tone, as she walked past me. Her chin high up in the air, dressed in her dancing costume. “Lost? I can’t be Cicilia. From what I see, you’re the one that should be lost.” I breathed out at her. “ Just on my way to see Elder Zu, I bumped into her. Just m
King Caspian’s Pov Ava didn’t understand the amount of damage, she had caused by saying those words in my defense. King Teta moved on impulse on what he felt. He didn’t give a damn about what anyone thought was right or not. I knew I had to fix the impact of what she had done. To avoid war amongst districts. He knew the right tabs to press. Once he attacked a part of our neighboring Kingdom, they’d immediately think it came from me. Thus, I set out men to prepare the ship. I would be sailing to the middle of the sea. Right where his Kingdom was positioned, to make immediate peace. I made sure no crew was around, when I went to him. Setting boats aside in case anything went wrong. He was as wild as that. “Father.” I summoned him, by calling out his name. Not that he couldn’t feel that a ship was right on top. He could. But I said i
King Caspian’s Pov My beast fought with me, furiously enraged as I told myself these words. You have to marry Princess Evealah. It is necessary to prevent a war from happening. To save mate…Mate…Thinking of that word, made me feel guilty. What was I going to tell Ava? How was I going to explain the situation, to her? Was she going to understand?Bad.This is bad.Judging from our last conversation, it would only become much worse. If I didn’t take a step, to make things right. I need to know what to do.“Jaskier!”I exclaimed the minute I arrived, back to the castle. If it took summoning the Great Witch, to know the next step, I had to do that.Silver or Gold wasn’t the issue.“Yes, Milord?” he answered, running in.“Send a message to the Witch. She should report to my office as soon as possible.”“As you wish, milord.”He immediately went out hurriedly, to do as I ordered. The Witch showed up, after some w
Ava’s Pov The strange woman left afterwards. I could have stopped her, but I didn’t have time to. She seemed to be in a rush. I replayed her words, however, to decide what to do. Chest. She knew I seeked a chest. Postponing seeing Emily, felt like the right thing to do now. I need to find Caspian, and ask about her. “Nynaeve.” I muttered, clenching my gown. Her name was Nynaeve. Did the beast really summon her for me? What were this woman’s abilities? Just why did I get a flash of a gory war scene? “I need answers.” I said to myself, deciding on what to do. I made my way to the beast’s chambers. Jaskier was nowhere to be found. And instead, two other guards stood at the entrance of his room. “My Knight.” One voiced out with a bow. “I need to see the King.” “He’s not in his room, My Knight. You can ch
King Caspian’s Pov My face wore a frown, so did my lips which tilted in support. I stood up in haste, from my chair, wearing my royal robe. “Going somewhere already? I just got here. That is absolutely no way to welcome your little brother,” he added his words. “I do not have time for your small talks, Alcander. I need to be somewhere.” “More.Important.” I gritted out, in addition. My mate. She said I hurt her all the time. It made me wonder since when? How long had I been hurting her? How long had she been bottling it up? Didn’t I tell her of her worth to me? All this power…it didn’t matter. I could risk it all for her. “I came from afar, you know. With a royal entourage, from my Kingdom. I won’t have you walking out on me.” Alcander said, with his hands taking a hold of my shoulders. That made me halt in my spot. My nose flared, and my beast surfaced, giving him a flaming glare. “This is crossing the limits! How dare you stop my movement?” My hands moved to hit his face, wi
