Chapter thirty three

AURORA

I wake up to the sound of soft music still playing from last night, I've heard the song three times since I walked through the door last night. I'm pretty sure I orgasm once or twice while it softly played. I quickly register I'm not laying on the bed, my body rests on a hard texture, a body, Caelum's. His arm is draped over me, through the sheets that cover us. Our legs are a tangled mess, I instantly fix that, shifting them without moving any other body part. Caelum nuzzles his nose in my hair, and shifts, both his arms now draped over me. “Yeah man, I'm listening.” he whispers.

Oh, he's on phone?

But why isn't he out of bed?

I feign being asleep, listening to him talk to who I assume is Ryker, Emelia's fiancé but that lasts only for a few minutes. My eyes heavy, and I drift off once again, sleeping in Caelum's arms. My sleeping schedule is fucked.

The second time I awaken Caelum is gone from the bed, I'm cuddling the sheets and there's no music, he must have turned it off. H
