Chapter Forty-Seven – Framed

Zion’s POV

“Don’t worry, Zion. They can’t keep you here for long when you’ve furnished all evidence to prove yourself innocent,” coaxed Eros, who had come down to the headquarters of the Hellenic Police Department, Crime Branch.

Last night, after talking to my trusted lawyer the entire night, lodging an FIR with the Hellenic Police, and arranging for adequate security around my building and office complex, I was about to rest an hour in the wee hours of the morning when I received a blow.

Two officers arrived at my home to arrest me on charges of murder. It shocked me and I pleaded innocent.

Flashback 7 Hours Ago

“Who has been murdered? Can I see the arrest warrant?” They produced the arrest warrant, and I gasped in shock.

I was framed for murdering Gregory Alesci! He was found dead in his hotel room after I left!

With my fingerprints present at the crime scene, I was the prime suspect. I knew who had done it to frame me.
