Flashback

It's midnight already but nothing happened. I didn't hear anyone or anything. Nothing is happening to me. My eyes, my body, no change like I was told to expect. I became more nervous than before. What if everything I was told was a lie? Does this mean that nothing will really happen to me?

I was told that it could happen at anytime but I should expect it mostly at midnight. I had high expectations for this. I kept counting the time in my head like a mad person, I don't want to lose my mind. What if everything I learnt happens to be a lie? Then my eyes will never open to the light?

The door to my room barged open while I was still thinking about this. I don't know why they won't just leave me alone. I feel so angry that they are adding more fuel to the fire. I already have a huge anxiety. Why don't they just stop already?
