I nodded my head composedly, despite the storm brewing in my head. “Does she know?”

“I haven't told her about the pregnancy. I thought it was best to inform you first then you could break the news to her.”

“Thank you, Doctor Roland.” I said, nodding my head.

“It's always a pleasure to work with you, Mr. Marino. I've heard so many good things about you and the success of your company.” He said with a broad smile. Now wasn't the time, man… I thought dejectedly.

When he didn't get a response, his smile dimmed a little as he stuttered, “I'll leave you to it, I have to get back to work. Congratulations again, Mr. Marino.” He said, finally walking out.

I stared at the door that led to Delilah's room, my mind reeling with a million thoughts. “Shit, what am I going to do?”

“I definitely wasn't expecting that,” Sienna breathed out from behind me. “I'm finally going to be an aunty.” Her last sentence drew my attention as I looked at her like she was crazy.

“Really? That's all you ca
