A Love Test

"Lucy, Lucy!" He called out, waiting for an answer. He didn't get any. Instead of knocking, he moved backwards and started kicking the door. After the first kick, Lucy suddenly jolted from the bed, trying to figure out where the nose was coming from. A second later, she realized that it was from the door, so she dashed towards it.

She knocked it to inform the person at the other side of the door that she was awake and she was about to open the door. Thankfully, Carlos heard it, so he stopped and breathed out in relief. Lucy was alive, she didn't kill herself.

Lucy slowly twisted the key in the keyhole and opened the door, to find a slightly sweaty Carlos staring back at her. "Is everything fine?" She asked in concern. Carlos gulped a little, before saying, "yes. I actually thought you were dead." He said jokingly, and Lucy gave him a small smile, shaking at him. He was unbelievable.
