Fifty-One

Maya held her hands and cooed. "It was just a dream, Olivia,"

Olivia shuddered. "It felt so real,"

"Duh, that's how dreams feel, babe, here drink this,"

She poured Olivia a glass of mango juice in a glass, but Olivia was still too shaken. "It's just a dream," Maya said coaxingly. "Just a dream, okay?"

Olivia nodded and managed a smile.

"Now as much as I hate to leave you, I've got a ton of errands I want to do today, so I'll see you when I get back okay?"

"Alright have fun,"

Maya smiled and left the kitchen.

The smile disappeared from Olivia's lips the minute Maya left. She had never believed dreams were just dreams. Dreams always had a deeper meaning. Or sometimes they were trying to pass a message that would probably align later on with whatever was happening in real life.
