Titan paid no attention to the gibberish.

He laid her down on her bed and covered her with thick multi-colored blankets. Then he straightened up and looked down at her. She looked peaceful and even more vulnerable asleep. He looked around the room and realized it was his second time here.

Weeks before her arrival, Titan had instructed some omegas to clean up and decorate the private room of the incoming Luna. But he had not supervised the process or come to see the finished work. His only business with the omegas involved payroll and off days. So even though they had done a good job, he could not recall them well enough to thank them.

The following morning, Olivia resumed her silent war.

She swept into the dining room without greeting or bowing. She raced through her breakfast and left before Titan had even begun eating.

Over the next three days, Titan watched her as she chatted during long walks with Maya, and became friendly with the pack warriors, the omegas, and even the guard
