Third Person's POV Aiden enters his bedroom, dazed. He looks down at himself to see he's covered in blood. He looks at Thaddeus to see the Alpha looks worse than he does. He's covered in blood and bits and pieces that only the Goddess knows what. Aiden walks toward Thaddeus, kneels before him, and begins looking him over, wanting to be sure he's okay. Aiden runs his hand over Thaddeus's chest and stomach, wiping the blood and chunks away so he can see if there are any wounds beneath it. The wounds he does see are mostly healed, and others are still healing. He continues to run his hands over the Alpha's body, pushing the blood away. It's so hard to tell what is what with all the blood. Aiden was so focused on looking for wounds that he didn't see the hand reaching for his until it gently wrapped around his hand and stopped his movements. Aiden looked up, meeting the Alpha's eyes.“Hey, I'm okay!” Aiden lets out of breath and then smiles as he squeezes Thaddeus's hand.“Let's take a
Third Person's POV It's been seven days since the rogue attack. There were so many rogues that attacked that night, hundreds of them. They kept coming, crossing over the river and into Thaddeus's territory. Alpha Michael didn't escape the attack since his territory was so close to Thaddeus and the river. The rogues didn't venture too deep into his territory; they stayed along the South end, with only a few stragglers making it deeper. Thankfully, Michael only suffered a few losses, but Thaddeus lost more. It took a full day to clean up the mess. The following day, they held a cremation ceremony for their fallen. The Alpha was mournful about the number of people he had lost. But he knew it could have been worse. They could have lost even more people, and he could have lost Xander. He almost did. Thaddeus blamed himself for almost losing Xander. He was too sure of himself and too cocky with his new strength. Zeus was a beast on the battlefield. He took his enemies down with ease. Eve
Third Person's POV Aiden is afraid he's wearing the floor out, but he can't stop himself from pacing the living room. Thaddeus is in the shower, and the Omega is a nervous wreck. The Omega is a ball of nerves, unable to sit still. He knows he needs to talk to Thaddeus, but he's terrified. The very thought of telling Thaddeus makes Aiden want to vomit. His stomach is in knots. He's known for three days. He knows he needs to tell Thaddeus, but he's not ready to tell him. Unfortunately, Dr. Mitchell told Aiden that if he didn't tell Thaddeus, he would tell him himself.Aiden doesn't know why the doctor is forcing him to tell Thaddeus so soon. He doesn't understand why the doctor can't give him a little more time. ‘Doesn't he know I'm not ready yet? I know it's my fault, and I shouldn't have let it happen, but I'm terrified I'm going to lose him!’ Aiden thought, his stomach churning even more. His heart aches at the thought of Thaddeus being mad at him and walking away because he was so
Third Person's POV Thaddeus is excited to be a father. He can't wait to watch Aiden's stomach grow round with his pup, take care of his Omega, and feel the baby moving inside his stomach. As Thaddeus basked in the fact that he was going to be a father, a horrible fact dawned on him… This means Aiden was pregnant when that bastard took him. This means Aiden was pregnant when he was raped and tortured. That bastard tore the skin from his mate's back while his pup was inside him. He forced himself onto his mate while he was pregnant with their child. He put that toxic wolfsbane in his mate, risking their child's life. Thaddeus had wanted to kill the bastard before, but now he wants to do it even more. He wants to torture him and slowly kill the asshole. He wants to make that piece of shit feel what Aiden felt and more. He wants to tear his dick off, then shove it down his throat and make him choke on it. A growl rose from Thaddeus's chest as he pictured torturing Jackson and hearing h
Third Person's POV Noah struggled in Marcus's grasp, annoyed he was messing up his awesome hair. ‘That shit took me forever to perfect this morning! A whopping 30 seconds!’ Noah thought, trying to get the jerk’s knuckles off his scalp. Before Noah could free himself, he was shoved away as Marcus was tackled. Noah was stunned to see this person repeatedly punching Marcus in the face. Noah quickly snapped out of it, and his shock turned to anger, furious that this person was hurting Marcus. Noah took a step forward, but unfortunately, the wind shifted his way, and an unfamiliar scent rushed over his face and up his nose. The Omega froze when he smelled something he hoped he'd never smell. Noah was frozen in place, his feet firmly planted on the ground and unable to move. As the wind continued to blow his way, the scent continued filling his nose, pulling his wolf forward. He felt his wolf's excitement, and the idiots began yapping the same word in his head over and over again… “MATE!
Third Person's POVAiden breathed out as he sat on a log near the fire and tried to wrap his head around everything that happened. One moment, he was amused as he watched Xander taunt Marcus and joke with him. He loved Xander's funny personality and watched how easy it was for Xander to rile Marcus up. And then, just like that, everything fell apart.Aiden was confused about the whole situation. He wasn't sure who to feel sorry for. He went from being terrified of Michael to feeling sorry for him when Noah walked away. But Aiden saw a fear in Noah's eyes that he was all too familiar with. He knows Noah was rescued when he was a child, and he knows he was abused, but he doesn't know anything more than that. Thaddeus didn't tell him, and Aiden didn't press for more details. When he saw the fear in Noah's eyes, Aiden almost felt it as though it was his own. He knew then the Omega's past was bad, really bad. Aiden looks toward the drink stand and catches Michael staring at the spot where
Third Person's POV When Thaddeus came back without Noah, Michael was disappointed. He thought the Omega would return, and he would get to see him again and maybe talk to him, but he was nowhere to be found. Michael tried to keep his mind off Noah and threw himself into conversations with Thaddeus, Marcus, and Xander. But it was useless. Michael couldn't stop thinking about him, and neither could his wolf. His wolf kept urging him to go find their mate. He tried ignoring his wolf but finally gave in and decided to sneak away to see if he could find him. Michael glanced at Thaddeus, feeling guilty for going against his order to leave Noah alone and give him time. But he couldn't help it; he just needed to see him and talk to him, just once. Michael entered the pack house and let his nose guide him, following that sweet and amazing scent. Michael's wolf was practically purring as they followed that sweet and addicting scent to the third floor. The scent led him halfway down the hallwa
Third Person's POV Noah doesn't know how he knew it, but he knew it would happen before Michael did it... Then why was he still surprised when he felt it?...Noah felt the weight of Michael's Alpha command slamming down on him, forcing him into submission as he bared his neck unwillingly. It was a sensation he hadn't felt in so long. It was a sensation he hoped he'd never feel again. No one had used it on him since he was rescued, except the one time when Thaddeus used it to help him shift. Noah knew Thaddeus only used it because he was fighting the shift and not listening to his father or his wolf. Thaddeus barely used it; it was just enough to get Noah to listen to his wolf and let the shift happen. Aside from that, no one has used the command on him again... that is, until now.Every muscle burned; the weight on his chest was so heavy it wouldn't allow him to breathe. Memories from his past came crashing down on Noah, and his body trembled as tears flowed down his face. The broken
