Chapter 56 Thaddeus

Third Person's POV

It's been seven days since the rogue attack. There were so many rogues that attacked that night, hundreds of them. They kept coming, crossing over the river and into Thaddeus's territory.

Alpha Michael didn't escape the attack since his territory was so close to Thaddeus and the river. The rogues didn't venture too deep into his territory; they stayed along the South end, with only a few stragglers making it deeper.

Thankfully, Michael only suffered a few losses, but Thaddeus lost more. It took a full day to clean up the mess. The following day, they held a cremation ceremony for their fallen.

The Alpha was mournful about the number of people he had lost. But he knew it could have been worse. They could have lost even more people, and he could have lost Xander. He almost did.

Thaddeus blamed himself for almost losing Xander. He was too sure of himself and too cocky with his new strength. Zeus was a beast on the battlefield. He took his enemies down with ease. Eve
