Chapter 69 Michael

Third Person's POV

Two days ago,

Ryder pushes the door open and isn't surprised to see the Alpha's desk full of paperwork, and his breakfast is untouched.

Michael stands in front of the window, leaning against the edge as he stares out the window. For some reason, he keeps expecting to see Noah walking up the driveway.

The Beta sighs as he sets Michael's lunch on his desk before sitting down.

“You didn't eat your breakfast,” Ryder said and frowned as he sat back in his chair.

“You know I don't have an appetite.” Michael's voice sounded rough and tired, and he was. The Alpha has barely slept the past two weeks.

“Michael, you need to eat!”

“I told you I'm not hungry!” Michael said, looking down the driveway a moment longer and then sighing when it was still empty. The Alpha turns and sits down and then frowns at the new tray of food his Beta brought him. Michael looks up and glares at Ryder.

“You can glare at me all you want, but I'm not leaving until you eat something!”
