Chapter 54
Tasha woke up with a hangover after last night's small party. Despite that, she's happy. Being back in her hometown is something that she has needed for a long time. A break from the noisy, chaotic city life is what she needed for a very long time.
As she descended the stairs, the smell of bacon and eggs enveloped her sense of smell. A smile formed on her lips when she ran down the rest of the steps and to the kitchen. It's been a long time since the last time she felt this hungry.
"Good morning!" Tasha greeted her parents cheerily.
"You're in a good mood. I was expecting a zombie walking around at noon looking for brains to eat.' Her father joked, which made her mother laughed.
"Dad!" Tasha complained. It was like when she was seventeen. Whenever she wakes up with a hangover, her dad would tease her that she walks like a zombie looking for brains to eat.
