Ariel did not believe that Bill Hunt would harm her friend without a reason, nor would Michael Larson.

Michael sat on the plastic waiting chair by the hallway, furrowing his brows as he thought about Matthew Henderson. If the Henderson family had seen Matthew’s confession to Christina on television, would they have sent those men to destroy her life? Would they do it just to uphold their honor?

Matthew was a man with a terrible reputation, yet this did not deter the old master’s adoration toward his son.
