I scoffed as I sat with Nathan discussing what has been happening these past few days. “I can’t believe Lily would stoop so low.” He said as he massaged his temples with frustration. “What were you expecting anyways?” I asked him with a sinister laughter. Trying to swerve the discussion, I decided to talk about the most important discussion. “This is just the time for us to buckle up our shoes, we need to get all of this drama over and done with!” Nathan said while staring at me. “I know that, I am also trying my best and I can tell you we are one step away from getting him.” I told Nathan with a smirk.
