Why does everything in the freaking mall seem so expensive? I thought eyeing a couple of baby clothes I wanted to buy. Around me, people teemed like flies, yelling, hollering, and shouting at themselves.

I wasn't used to this. Mostly because my parents were quite conservative and rarely took me to the mall. The only time I had been there was with my best friend. Addison.

My chest squeezed at the thought of her. I had skipped classes that day. And spent it running through the entire mall, feeding my eyes with all the shining dresses my parents would never let me have.

Quite ironic that the clothes mom had packed were the extreme opposite of conservative. I looked up again, through the show glass of the store. The baby clothes that had caught my eye was a cute green, alligator onesie. I glanced at my slightly bulging stomach. It had been four months already. And I was starting to show.
