“Why are you here? We both know you don't like me.” I said to her with my hands folded across my chest. Cassie laughed out loud after hearing what I said to her. I just couldn't hold it in anymore seeing her stand in front of me pretending to be my friend.

“Well, you're no longer the poor brat you used to be, look around you, everything here is luxurious so you're qualified to be my friend now.” Staring at her while she was talking made me feel she is more stupid than I ever imagined.

“You look like a clown, go take a look at your face in the mirror.” I said to her angrily and walked away. The moment I walked away everything she said in my presence kept ringing in my head. So the reason why she treated me that way was just because I was poor? She made that school a living hell for me.

I got downstairs and saw the rest of them eating peacefully while getting along with each other, Cassie just had to leave such a peaceful gathering to come irritated me.
