Chapter Seventy-four: Danger 2.

"Father, let him go," Helia pleaded.

"What a joke," Alpha Leander snorted. "Father sins. Son pays. Fair enough."

"Then I should be killed for being the daughter of the woman that cursed Khron and Wulfe," Helia retorted and Alpha Leander scoffed.

"The father is evil, but the son isn't. He in fact hates his father for his father's deeds."

"And, you believe that is true. The son of that wicked wolf has filled your head with lies. He is here to spy on Khron. Why shouldn't I kill a spy in my kingdom?" Alpha Janus snapped.

"He saved me from his people while I was at Wulfe. If he had not saved me, I would have died that day. I owe him my life and I won't let you kill him no matter what."

"Stop making things too hard," Alpha Leander warned and Helia scoffed. She stood in front of Rendall shielding him from whatever his father had planned to use to attack him.

"Leave," her father growled but she stood still, staring at him defiantly.
