"Don't do that, Dante. It hurts more." I pleaded as he rounded the pool with the wheelchair.

It was melodramatic to think that Alex would get a wheelchair but he had gone ahead to show me what he could do.

His word was Law. That I knew.

"Do you want to end up using a wheelchair your whole life? Alex can make that possible." I frowned, picking up one of the chess pieces and throwing it at him.

"Please respect that." He pointed out. "That's something Italians love. Alex would kill you if you were to lose one of his chess pieces."

"Rubbish." I glared at him.

"Tell me what happened and I'll let someone help you with the ankle." He said.

I looked at him. Brows knitted and fist clenched by my side. All I had to do was grab another chess piece and dig it up his ass and nothing would happen.

"I woke up in his room." I began, looking for a way to put it light.
