When Jane’s cheque appeared in front of Alora again, she looked at Jane and put away the cheque. “You should know that Callen is not innocent.”

Alora lifted her eyebrows. “If you know, why did you accept his money?”

Jane did not say anything.

Alora did not talk about it again. No one knew more than her that Jane needed a huge amount of money.

“There’s not much time left.” Alora reminded.

“What do you want to try? Jane, just give up.”

“Do you hate Mr. Stewart that much?” Actually, Alora wanted to say, ‘Mr. Stewart does not treat you that badly. When you were sick, he even carried you to the hospital.
