Sixty-Three: The Invitation.

As soon as Damien reached the door of his car, he immediately stopped in his tracks, not just because of the slight yell he’d heard come from the windows but because he realized he still had no idea where Sofia was—the only person that did was somehow the same person he happened to hate so much in that moment.

He grasped his keys in a firm lock and then turned around, aiming for the door he’d passed through barely seconds ago. The murmurs between his teeth was enough evidence of how displeased he was to face Emma again but it so happened that when he entered the house, his eyes suddenly fell to her lying across the ground.

She was bleeding unto the floor and there was a knife sticking out of her chest. Her eyes were open and her lips still struggled to speak, very faintly. It took Damien more than a few seconds to realize what had happened and by that time, the horror was crystal clear in his blue eyes.

“Oh my God” He exclaimed.

This was just someone he’d seen.
