In the ward

Salto stirred awake with a happy smile on his face.

However, that smile soon faded when he felt his side and there was no sign of anyone.

His eyes flew open and he got out of bed and threw on his clothes, his hands reaching into his pockets.

He dialed the security's number but it went unanswered. He needed no one to tell him what was happening.

"I think Natasha has escaped." He said as soon as his call connected to Pierce's line.

"Really? You let her escape!" The other man bellowed.

"Look, I didn't know, alright?" Salto said forcefully.

"If you had listened to me when I told you to give my wife to you none of this would've happened!" Pierce insisted from the other hand.

"Natasha has done a lot of vile things to Queenie. If I had given her back to you and she happens to regain her memory my fiance would be done for." Salto scoffed as he walked out of the room.

"Then guess what?" Pierce asked mockingly from the other end.

"What?"
