LUCIANO'S POV

I couldn't sleep all night. My mind was greatly disturbed as I didn't know what to do next about Willow's absence in the house. Thinking it through overnight, I had no choice, I would have to reach out to her parents as a last resort. I dialed her father's number as soon as the sun rose the next morning. It went through but he wasn't picking. After trying a second time, I knew he wasn't the best option right then given that he was so strict and if he should have heard or seen the news, he would be angry with me just like his daughter.

I dialed Willow's mum, and she picked up almost immediately.

"Good morning, Mum," I greeted, attempting to maintain politeness, but the response I received was met with a chilling silence.

"Good morning, Mum," I repeated, hoping for a different outcome, yet the other end remained eerily quiet.
