Rowan rushed off to the living room, setting down his plate of bacon and eggs on the floor to switch on the television. After getting to his desired station, Rowan stopped tormenting the remote button before picking his plate back up with a satisfied grin on his face.

“I can’t believe that I missed some minutes. I didn’t get to see Jacob Miller walk to the field.” Rowan muttered but loud enough for his mother to hear him.

Raven stared at her son with her mouth agape. She could hardly believe what she just heard her son say.
