Mother’s love

Late in the evening, I woke up to find myself alone in my bed, 'I told Terry he wasn't allowed to leave until I said he could...'

I sat up in my bed and looked around to see if Terry was still in the room, "He even left the room..." I went to get out of bed, although I still felt exhausted.

Even though I was still physically and mentally exhausted, I climbed out of bed and headed down the hall to the incubation room.

When I entered the room, I saw Crimson sitting on Terry's seat next to the pedestal, "Mom?"

The moment Crimson heard me, she got out of her seat as she looked over at me, "Sash!"

Crimson rushed over to me and hugged me, "I'm so happy to see you! But what are you doing out of bed? You should be resting right now."

"I had to come and see my egg. And when I woke up, Terry wasn't there."

"I know how you feel. When I had you and your brothers, your Father had to make me leave the incubation room."

As Crimson and I talked, I walked over to the pedestal and rested my hand
