His brows were knitted together, probably because his shoulder wound was still throbbing.

If it hadn't been for Ian that night, she might've been in serious trouble. He did get injured because of her. Thus, out of respect for Linda, she couldn't bring herself to call the cops and kick him out.

"You can stay at the hotel if you want, but you can't use this as an excuse to make me accompany you for the scar removal surgery," she said.
