Jim and I are left alone in the sitting room.

Jim lies on the sofa and I seat beside him

“Baby, are you sleeping over?” I ask him.

“Yes I am princess, Are you okay with that?” He asks me.

“Yes I am…. Totally”.

“Oh, that’s fine then. I’m exhausted from today”.

“Well, come get some rest with me on my bed, babe…. We both have a long day tomorrow, but you have a longer day tomorrow” I say.

“Alright princess, but just because you begged” Jim teases weakly, and I know it’s because he’s tired.

Jim stands up from the sofa and I lead him into my room.

Jim enters my room and just lays tirelessly on my bed.

“Your feet must be tired from having to wear this all day?” I tell him, helping him take off his shoes and his socks.

“Thank you…. I was too lazy and tried to reach for my shoes.

“It’s my pleasure, baby….. But aren’t you going to take a shower?” I ask him.

“We can do that tomorrow… come join me in bed, princess” he invites, making a space for me on the bed.

“Thank you baby” I say, joining him
