Meeting again

His face turned pale and he felt his jaws stiffened as he saw her sitting elegantly on the couch, dressed beautifully in a pink short dress with her beautiful round eyes staring at him in dismay.

He felt Alex's presence in front of him and he turned to face her quickly.

"Um, have you guys met before?" He heard her ask as she looked at his face in surprise.

"Oh,..um, no," he responded quickly as he walked to his seat while Alex followed behind him with excitement.

She became dumbfounded for a while and her heart began to race as she looked at the young man sitting on the couch opposite her. What is he doing here? How come he knows Alex? She thought as she raised her eyes to look at him and their eyes met again.
