Elika jumped when the thundering clang of the basement door barrelled down into the underground chamber, her heart thumping against her ribcage as her fear rose; reaching dangerous limits. She cowered back against the wall as the recognisable mechanical white eyes shot through the darkness, the lifeless vessels turning towards her.
