Chapter 67
The walk through the darkened halls was silent, neither of them had a word to say to each other; the echoing of servants voices the only sound in the entire mansion. But none dare to come up close to the Lord of hell, nor inform them of where Hades was. They reached the large door that lead to where the laboratory was within ten minutes, but that was not soon enough for Darkous, he hated when time was wasted waiting for the girl to keep up with his steps. She was useless, unable to hold up her own weight for long before her legs trembled.

The young immortal princess winced slightly as Darren poured more of the burning liquid onto the deep wounds across her back, her fingers digging into the hard wood flooring as she stifled a cry; the large training room now empty of all soldiers.
