WHY DIDN'T YOU SEND ME TO EARTH?
Augustus found Sandilo at the top of the mountain. He was kneeling on the ground. His eyes were glued to the sky as if he expected Vivian to drop from the sky at any moment.
His heart ached as he saw Sandilo's blanched face. He felt like a total failure. He couldn’t save Vivian. He didn’t even know how to console his son.
He took a few deep breaths to calm himself before slowly walking towards Sandilo. He placed his hand on Sandilo’s shoulders wordlessly. He opened his mouth but he couldn’t form any words.
The moment Sandilo sensed his father's presence, he lost control over his emotions. He grabbed his father's legs and burst out sobbing, burying his head into his legs.
“Father… that man… that b******! Took Vivian in front of my eyes but… but I couldn’t do anything… I am so useless... I couldn’t even protect my mate…” He managed to choke out between sobs.
