Chapter 17: Betrayals
Selena POV
Someone had betrayed the pack! I helped Damian to his feet calling for help. Ashe was immediately at my side, helping me to half carry a beaten and bruised Damian. He had been weakened and could barely stand. Others upon seeing us rushed over, but I pushed them away, calling for Dianna. She came over and we rested Damian on the ground, letting him lean heavily against me as we sat on the grass. I summoned Alicia and Rayanne to assist me in healing him.
We called for a joint Pack and Coven investigation and meet at the Old Town Hall a couple of hours later. Damian is still weak and was seated between Alpha Sean and Rayanne, me by her side. I had brought Damian his favorite coffee and a pastry. He seems a bit glazed over but takes them thankfully and his saddened eyes meet mine as he attempts a weak smile for me.

Selyna’s POV I wish I could have given him my virginity, but I had dated in highschool and had been with one guy. Heck my first kiss had been shortly before my thirteenth birthday. It was Ashe and it had been sweet, full of love but lacking passion. I love Ashe, but even at 13 we realized that our love was that of best friends, more like siblings than anything. Even when I was dating boys from school my mind would drift to the grumpy boy, who is now the beautiful man kissing me tenderly and asking me if I am ok. I haven’t spoken since Storm excused herself. She promised to keep our secret and to return daily to help us train and control our powers. Apparently, I awoke some sleeping witch powers in Damian. I still don’t understand how the moon goddess, mother of werewolves would or could imbue Hecate’s powers, or maybe it is different because he is a wolf.
