My limits

Samil led me to his office, told me to sit on the sofa, and walked out saying that he needed to handle the rest. He left the door open so that he could keep an eye on me. I assumed that I might have looked slightly pale… close to a freshly awaken zombie. I was absolutely unable to go through everything that occurred in the last few minutes. I stared at the open door watching Samil making calls and glancing at me every three seconds. I could see anger and guilt painted all over his face.

Seconds later I saw a group of men in black clothes and caps march in front of Samil. They stood in one row like an army. They resembled some special operations squad, like the ones you can see in the spy movies. There was one person among them who wore a black suit, it seemed like he was their leader.

“Apologize for the delay, Sir,” he bowed to Samil.

“This is unacceptable…” Samil hissed, “Where were the security assigned to the top floor?!” he fumed.
