Plan gone wrong

"Muriel, I come from a pack where my dad is the Alpha and that tells you that my mum is the Luna. She is cold, sassy and that is how she treats people around and that is also how she taught us to live. All my sisters had found their mates, so mum chased me out of the pack to go look for my mate and that is how I ended up here." She explained with a teary voice.

"Wow!! I didn't know." I pleaded. I never knew she has been through this much.

"Of course, you didn't know. No one told you, is there anything I can do to make the people of this Pack like me?." She asked inquisitively.

"You could try to be nice." I answered and she stared weirdly at me.

"Nice my damned foot!!! Some minutes ago I tried to be nice, but what did I get? No, let me answer that, I got nothing but insults!!! Spiteful insults!!! Insults!!." She complained bitterly.

"Tracy, you and I knows that even if you wanna change and stuff like that, you'll have to accept insults with all your heart for the main time. People can't just start being nice to you, you were a bitch before now remember?." I reminded and gave her a smile, so she wouldn't take my remark as an insult. I don't know if it sounded as an insult, but— I don't care though.

" I understand that, but do you think they would ever come to like or even love me?." She asked with curiousity.

" I think so. I mean.........they might like you only if you're consistently nice." I explained and she smiled faintly.

Just then, the door barged open and Heedah raced in.

"Muriel is s............. What the fuck is going on?." Heedah asked.

I'm sure she was about to scream at Tracy or ask me if I'm okay, but was shocked at seeing me sitting close to Tracy, with her head on my laps and my hand patting her back soothingly.

"Heedah, she's being through a lot." That's the only sentence that could storm our of my mouth. 6 words to end further questions.

"What do you mean missy?." She asked again, wide eyed. That's one thing with Heedah, she wants to know everything, at any time, at any place. She just doesn't care if it's convenient for you.

"Heedah can we talk about this later please? This isn't the right time." I tried stopping her from asking more questions, but that was the worst shot.

"Do I look like I care?." She yelled, staring daggers at me.

"Tracy, just a moment please." I beckoned and Tracy smiled in the affirmative. I then walked up to Heedah and pulled her far away from Tracy.

This is the second time and maybe the last time we'll be having secret meetings in front of Tracy.

"Start talking." Heedah challenged and folded her hands at akimbo, looking like a volcano that was about to erupt.

"Heedah, to cut all these short, Tracy was thrown out of her pack to go and look for her mate by her cold, sassy mum, so it's quite obvious where she got her character from. So the end of it is that she is indirectly a rouge mate that was only taught how to act cold, arrogant and sassy." I explained and Heedah just stared weirdly at me.

"So what are we supposed to do about that?." She asked looking uninterested.

So I just wasted another 1 minute of my life explaining what seemed important to me, to Heedah. I said another 1 minute because the first 1 minute I wasted was when I tried being nice to Tracy the first time we met.

"Heedah, she was rejected by her family!!!! That's enough reason why we need to do something about it. You don't want me to remind you of your history or do you?." I shot back glaring at her.

"That's enough please," she said rolling her eyes "what can I do to help?." She asked and rolled her eyes again.

"Well, you can start by being nice to her. Listen, Heedah we are bestfriends right? You and I knows how it feels to be rejected. Tracy wants to change, she wants to make amends. The ball is now in our court, we have to give her the chance to turn a new leaf." I urged Heedah and gave her one of my puppy eyes that she always succumbs to..

"That look isn't working on me but anyways, I agree with you. Let's give her a chance to change." She said and smiled broadly.

"Thanks girl. I love you." I said and winked at her.

We went back to Tracy and Heedah assured Tracy that she was forgiven.

At least now, we can say we have a Luna. Our Alpha now has a mate.

"Muriel, our ears are itching to hear." Heedah said and smirked.

Oh boy, I know that mischievous look. What is she up to now?

"Hear what?." I asked in confusion.

"Yeah, I'm lost too. What are our ears itching to hear Heedah?." Tracy asked, also in confusion.

"Ohh Tracy, you missed a whole lot in the Battle. It was a great fight." Heedah said and giggled.

Okay, now I know what she's up to. This girl is a gossip. Her mouth is always itchy to talk but guess what, she's also great at keeping secrets.

"A lot....okay, now I'm interested.... Please tell me more." Tracy urged and Heedah smirked again.

Bunch of gossipers!!!!!!

"Okay, it's kinda heavy but I'll just let it out in 5.......4.......3......2......1.... Are you ready for this?."

"Yes, just let it out please." Tracy said and looked at Heedah expectantly.

# "Muriel got saved by a vampire today. " Heedah screamed.

# "A vampire!!!!" Tracy screamed in terror.

"Yes girl, a vampire. You can't imagine the shock on everyone's face, he was just like a guardian angel, or a knight in shining armor. He just appeared at the right time and you need to see him. Though we didn't see his face, but I think he's cute, broad shoulders and nice fighting skills. You need to see the way he killed the rival wolf's like bugs. It went like squash, squashy, squash. He just squashed them like flies and hugs. In less than two minutes, he was—." She was just spitting it all out before Tracy interrupted.

"Heedah stop. Take a deep cleansing breath in and then continue slowly please. You're talking like a machine at this point." Tracy said and we broke out in laughter. Heedah was talking like am Eminem right now.

*Breathe in*

*Breathe out*

"Hmm, yeah, so as I was saying before you rudely interrupted, in less than two minutes he had killed all the rival wolf's, took one last look at Muriel and dissappeared into thin air." Heedah said excitedly.

Damn!!!! I love and hate this girls. Hahaha hahaha.

"If i didn't know vampire's were real, i would have called what you just explained a mere fantasy. Like what the actual fuck. Which vampire in his clear sense would barge into a wolf's battle and save a wolf unless his brain was a mess. Muriel, please explain more." Tracy said and they both looked at me expectantly.

*Knock*

       *Knock* *Knock*

May the spirits bless whoever knocked on that door, because i dont know what i would have said to this pair of gossipers. They are actually getting along better than i though, more better than i anticipated. I just hope Tracy doesn't steal my bestfriends. Hahahahahah we are no longer a duo, we are now a trio.

{Elise POV}

"Father, our men have failed yet again." I said to my father as i knelt. Dad was backing me, so i couldn't quite see his expression.

This is the worst news that he'd have to hear right now, but either ways, i still have to tell him, evening if it's heartbreaking.

"Hmm, i guess we'll keep trying then. *Giving up is the only sure way to fail, failure is not there to be feared but to be learned*." Father said shrugging his shoulders.

Okay, dad actually digested this more easier than i thought. Perhaps he has gotten so used to me bringing failure report and it doesn't bother him any longer.

"Yes father, we won't give up." I said and was about moving out before a guard came in.

"My lady, the fight faced a lot of resistance but it isn't from Dark Monarchy." The guard said panting.

"What?" I screamed. I don't understand what's going on anymore, if it isn't from dark Monarchy then where else would this resistance come from. Just before I'd ask, dad asked.

"Where is the resistance kicking in from?." Father asked as he turned around, his face now visible.

"My Lord, reports has said that they faced resistance from a VAMPIRE.

"What!!!!?." I and dad screamed simultaneously.
