Possessive Part 2

Just as I was about to avert my gaze a car zoomed past us. It was surprising to see another car on the same road as us. This route only led to the mansion and hardly any cars passed this route. The mansion was now in full view, it was standing in its full glory with light shining from the insides of the mansion. The gates opened as our car came close by and we passed through them to the porch of the mansion.

I looked at my watch and the time was now five minutes to nine. I hadn’t realized that I was twenty-five minutes late from the time Austin had ordered me to come back. I walked in confidently, the mansion was eerily quiet- not a single sound except for the sound of my heels clicking. The lights were switched on but not a single soul was seen around. This was not the usual, it was almost dinner time and not a single worker was spotted.

I walked to the kitchen to see if there was anyone in there but surprisingly I found that empty as well. I looked around once
