I wake up to Caleb's light snoring. It isn't loud but at a comfortable volume, and I smile when I notice I'm still pressed against his hairy cheek. He never left his sleeping place on the pillow.

That makes me happy.

I'm about to close my eyes again but widen them when someone urgently knocks on the door.

"Alpha Roger is here!" Ryan is behind the door and continues knocking like a maniac. "His pack just entered our grounds. Caleb, are you there? It's time to wake up!"

I snort in amusement and giggle when Caleb kisses me out of nowhere. His arms close in on the pillow, and a satisfied smile touches his lips when I pat his enormous nose, smiling radiantly.

"You're such a cuddly guy in the morning..." I whisper, wishing we could stay here since I'm not interested in meeting Roger. He frightens me while Caleb gives me butterflies.
