The news about the Prince's engagement had spread around the entire Kingdom. It was only the day before the mating ceremony but a lot of Alphas of powerful packs were coming to the crown city. Kira became nervous when she learned how big the event would be. To be honest, she had hoped this would be a small celebration, but she still had her anxiety especially when around powerful people. And she couldn't forget that she wasn't exactly the ideal bride, everyone else still didn't know that the person Shane was marrying was an unknown commoner who wasn't even a full wolf.

Perhaps the king had accepted her without much complication, but you couldn't say the same about the others. She had experienced mistreatment and the hand of the members of the Blood Moon Pack in the past so she didn't know what to think now, the last thing she wanted was to embarrass Shane.
