A Rare Visitor

It is still unclear to me why Alpha Anton will want to visit my pack. So many things ran through my mind at that moment. Could he have been sent by Logan? I'm not deaf to the rumors flying around that it was Logan who might have kidnapped Tihana.

I'm not foolish enough to believe that. Why would he abduct a girl he knows nothing of? He has no reason to do so. Rather, it could have been done by some other enemy, maybe trying to drive a wedge between me and Logan. But there's no reason to. We are already enemies. What more do they want? A bloodbath perhaps?

The door to my room pushed open and Theo walked in.

“Dad, you sent for me.”

I took a good look at my son, and I became speechless for a second. What did I expect from him?

“You look… terrible, son.”
