She ended up masking the scent of me that covered her by letting the blood flow. It was silly of her but it made sense as well to avoid the questions that could arise. When we arrived Macy had just finished prepping the food which means we made it back just in time for the stags to be carved. It wouldn't take much time to prepare the meat from these animals so we left it to Macy and the others.
While dinner was getting ready we decided to clean up before we sat down to eat. Valkia did enjoy the showers created by the bipeds but a natural spring to bathe in was more ideal. Macy/ Abicus wanted to head home but decided to postpone it a little longer. So we stayed with Valkia while he trained her further in tapping into his gift. Within a full day, he had trained Valkia enough to tap into his gift which soon lead to me. He admitted knowing nothing about my spirit but he genuinely wanted to help me learn. Macy/The place Rachel brought us was a vacant den that had the signs of fighting. But no bodies had been found or seen as we explored every inch of this place. Satisfied we wouldn't find anyone alive here we decided to look for anything that could point the way. I wanted to ask who this woman was but it felt like I would be digging into an old wound asking her. The more we searched the more frustration I could hear coming from her. They didn't leave anything here that was helpful and ultimately we had to give up.She had several ideas but I could tell she was stressing herself out. The day was mostly spent searching an empty den without any clues left behind. I know this is important to her but this isn't how we reach the end goal. When I looked at the map I noticed a city nearby which I decided to pull her towards. She protested at first but my logical reasoning was enough to quiet her down.
