“I did a cruel thing to Kim. I…left her at the altar.” As Adrian replied I was able to notice the sadness in his eyes as if he was reliving the moment.

Yes, a part of me was happy that Adrian did not marry Kim, but still she was a woman like me and also had feelings too. The moment had to have been horrible for her being left alone in front of everyone.
