Chapter Thirty-eight

Storm's POV

" I'm grateful you guys were here when she woke up. It is a good thing she woke up to see familiar faces." I heard Noah's voice as I woke up, my heart skipped for a second and I was elated that he was here. I had acted like I couldn't care if he was around or not but I was lying. His presence alone brought me peace.

"I'm so glad you're awake, Rainstorm. I've been going insane without you. " He whispered and kissed my forehead gently. I sighed and popped one eye open to look at him.

His eyes widened when he saw me and he smiled widely, I chuckled and opened the other eye.

I yawned and stretched, "Of course, you know you can't do anything without me." I whispered back.

He cupped my face and kissed me. The kiss shocked me but I didn't fight him, I closed my eyes and relished it, his tongue hit my lips and I parted them, letting him in, we fought for dominance with our tongues until we were out of breath and broke apart.
