I tapped my right foot slightly and sighed. Though I enjoyed the chat between them, I was begging to feel left out. Some maids brought in the food and began to serve. Since I had nothing to do, I decided to look around. My eyes settled on Axel and I stared at him for a while. I have been thinking of how to speak to him so that I can appreciate him for everything he has done for me and Alaila.

Jason nudged me slightly. "Staring at him again?"

"I-i am not staring" I lied.

"But I caught you staring," he said and I rolled my eyes but said nothing.

"Kayden told me you both are going to the new island next week," Alaila told Axel who nodded slightly.

"You are leaving again?" Axel's mother asked.

"I already told you I will leave when she gets better" Axel answered.

"Axel, who are you going to leave the affairs of the Pack with?" His mom asked.

"Is Nathan not in the Pack anymore?" he asked as he picked up an apple and began to peel.
